Abstract

The purpose of this community service is to provide an understanding of the importance of a good marketing strategy in the cake business. The service is carried out in Lombok Village, Lembah Melintang District where this area focuses on the wet cake business. In carrying out this service, it consists of 2 stages, namely field surveys and socialization. The field survey was carried out by discussing with the village community about the problems they faced and based on these problems, the team conducted counseling on what methods could be used to solve the problems that had been faced. At the stage of team service, the focus is on several points, namely: 1. Careful marketing strategy planning, 2. Specific Marketing Scope, 3. Implementing the marketing mix. The result of this service is where previously the wet cake business actors in the village of Lombok, the valley of the transverse sub-district did not understand a good marketing strategy, After community service was carried out, the wet cake business actor could apply the correct marketing strategy so as to increase sales.
