Abstract

Forage crops are the key to keeping livestock healthy and strong. With the right feed, livestock can have a high selling value. Therefore, systematic and sustainable efforts are needed so that the amount of green feed and seeds is of sufficient quality. This requires further introduction to the characteristics, potential and distribution of forage plants in the district of Padang Pariaman so that the carrying capacity and capacity of the land in supplying green feed can be found so as to improve the economy of the surrounding community. Problems in the provision of this feed such as lack of attention to feed, limited funds, facilities and facilities and marketing. Counseling is expected to provide knowledge and descriptions so that people can find solutions to the problems they face.
